Terms and conditions for using DocMaster Google Sheets add-on
By installing and using DocMaster, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use DocMaster.
These terms apply to the DocMaster add-on available through Google Workspace Marketplace, provided by Codeinate.
DocMaster is a Google Sheets add-on that provides:
- Invoice generation from Google Sheets order data
- Google Docs template processing with data markers
- Order management and customer database functionality
- Automatic calculation of taxes, discounts, and totals
- Background task processing for bulk operations
The service runs entirely within Google Workspace under your Google account.
To use DocMaster, you must:
- Have a valid Google account
- Have access to Google Sheets and Google Docs
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Comply with Google's Terms of Service
- Use the service for lawful business purposes only
**License Grant:** Codeinate grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DocMaster for your business needs.
**You may NOT:**
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble DocMaster
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense DocMaster
- Use DocMaster to violate laws or infringe third-party rights
- Attempt to access Codeinate's systems beyond authorized use
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices in DocMaster
**You own your data.** All customer information, invoices, and business data you create with DocMaster remains your property.
**Your responsibilities:**
- Maintain backups of your important data
- Ensure accuracy of data you input into DocMaster
- Comply with data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) when handling customer data
- Secure your Google account credentials
Codeinate does not access, store, or control your business data. You are solely responsible for data you manage with DocMaster.
**No Uptime Guarantee:** DocMaster is provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime or availability.
**Maintenance:** We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service, with or without notice.
**Changes:** We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue DocMaster features at any time.
**Google Dependency:** DocMaster relies on Google Workspace services. Interruptions to Google services may affect DocMaster.
**Current Model:** DocMaster may be offered as a free or paid service. Pricing details are available on the Google Workspace Marketplace listing.
**Changes:** We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
**Refunds:** Refund policies will be specified at the time of purchase.
**Billing:** Payment processing is handled by Google. We do not store your payment information.
You may not use DocMaster to:
- Generate fraudulent invoices or financial documents
- Process illegal transactions
- Spam, phish, or engage in deceptive practices
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Abuse or overload Google's infrastructure
Violation may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
**DocMaster Code:** All code, design, and documentation for DocMaster are owned by Codeinate and protected by copyright.
**Trademarks:** "DocMaster" and "Codeinate" are trademarks of Codeinate.
**Your Content:** You retain all rights to your business data and content created with DocMaster.
**Google Trademarks:** Google, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive are trademarks of Google LLC.
**AS-IS BASIS:** DocMaster is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
**NO WARRANTY:** We do not warrant that DocMaster will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or meet your requirements.
**Financial Accuracy:** While DocMaster automates calculations, you are responsible for verifying accuracy of all financial documents.
**Not Accounting Advice:** DocMaster is a tool, not professional accounting or legal advice.
**TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:**
Codeinate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Lost profits or revenue
- Data loss or corruption
- Business interruption
- Loss of goodwill
Our total liability for any claim related to DocMaster shall not exceed the amount you paid for DocMaster in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limits may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codeinate from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of DocMaster
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Content you create or process using DocMaster
**By You:** You may stop using DocMaster and uninstall it from Google Workspace Marketplace at any time.
**By Us:** We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.
**Effect of Termination:** Your data remains in your Google Drive. DocMaster features will no longer be accessible.
DocMaster is distributed through Google Workspace Marketplace and subject to:
- Google's Terms of Service
- Google's Workspace Marketplace Terms
- Google's OAuth policies
In case of conflict between these Terms and Google's terms, Google's terms prevail for matters related to the Marketplace.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at this URL with a new "Last Updated" date.
Material changes will be notified through the DocMaster interface or via email (if provided).
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
