Data Collection and Storage

**DocMaster does NOT collect, store, or transmit your business data externally.** All your data remains in your Google Drive under your account.

**What DocMaster accesses:**

- Google Sheets files you explicitly authorize

- Google Docs templates you designate for invoice generation

- Google Drive folders where generated documents are saved

**What DocMaster does NOT access:**

- Other files in your Google Drive

- Your email or calendar

- Any data outside the authorized Sheets and Docs

**Zero external storage:** Codeinate.com servers never receive, store, or process your invoices, customer names, order details, or any business information.

How DocMaster Works

DocMaster runs entirely as a Google Apps Script add-on inside Google's infrastructure:

1. **You install** the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace

2. **You authorize** DocMaster to access specific Google Sheets and Docs files

3. **DocMaster processes** data locally within Google's servers under your account

4. **Generated invoices** are saved directly to your Google Drive

All operations happen within Google Cloud Platform under your Google account. Your data never leaves Google's infrastructure.

Google OAuth Scopes

DocMaster requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

- **`spreadsheets.currentonly`** - Read and modify only the Google Sheets where DocMaster is installed

- **`documents`** - Create and edit Google Docs for invoice generation

- **`drive.file`** - Access only files created or opened by DocMaster

These are the minimum permissions required for DocMaster to function. We follow Google's principle of least privilege.

Usage Analytics

DocMaster collects minimal, anonymized usage data to improve the product:

- **Installation events** (add-on installed/uninstalled)

- **Feature usage counts** (e.g., number of invoices generated, not the content)

- **Error logs** (technical errors, not your data)

**We never collect:**

- Customer names, emails, addresses, or phone numbers

- Invoice amounts, item details, or order information

- Any personally identifiable information (PII) from your business data

Data Sharing

**We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.**

Your business data stays in your Google Drive. Codeinate.com has no access to it.

The only data sharing that occurs is:

- **With Google** - As required for the add-on to function within Google Workspace

- **With you** - You maintain full control and ownership of all your data

Data Security

Security is ensured by Google Cloud Platform's infrastructure:

- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

- Your data is stored in Google Drive with Google's enterprise-grade security

- Access is controlled by Google OAuth authentication

- DocMaster code runs in Google's secure Apps Script environment

Codeinate.com servers never handle your business data, eliminating external security risks.

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

- **Access:** Your data is always in your Google Drive

- **Export:** Download your Sheets and Docs anytime using Google Takeout

- **Delete:** Remove DocMaster and delete any files it created

- **Revoke access:** Uninstall DocMaster from Google Workspace Marketplace to revoke all permissions

Uninstalling DocMaster does not delete your files—they remain in your Google Drive.

Children's Privacy

DocMaster is a business tool not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted at this URL with a new "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of DocMaster after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Google Workspace Marketplace Compliance

DocMaster complies with Google's OAuth Policies and Workspace Marketplace requirements:
